CV10/CV15 Control Valve

The CV10/CV15 Control Valves are compact, cage-guided valves also known as dump valves. They are ideally suited for a wide range of applications such as pressure control, level control, and flow control. Typical installations include separators, scrubbers, wellheads, and other production equipment. The CV10 is a close coupled design and the CV15 is an open yoke design. The CV10/CV15’s hammer union makes maintenance easy by allowing the top works to be removed without taking the valve out of line. This features reduces the amount of time needed to inspect and replace the valve trim. Both models are available in a variety of material options and different trim sizes. For sour service a NACE option is available.

CV10S/CV15S Control Valve

The CV10S/CV15S Control Valves are ideal for applications where space is an issue. The “S” models offer the same benefits as the CV10 and CV15, but with a shorter body. They can also be assembled with a non-adjustable actuator, further reducing the valve’s footprint. Read the description for the CV10/CV15 control valves above for more information.

CV15E Control Valve

The CV15E Control Valve can be equipped with an Electric Actuator. The electric actuator takes the place of the standard spring/diaphragm actuator. In addition to being a zero emissions device, electric actuators also have the advantage of high shut-off loads and excellent control in a convenient package. This electric actuator offering includes options for AC and DC power sources, and for both modulating and on/off service. All standard valve options are available when used with an electric actuator.


CV20 Control Valve

The CV20 Control Valve is a rugged, compact, breezeless dump valve. The body can be installed so that the valve cage and plug are submerged into the process media giving the valve its breezeless characteristic. Typical installations include separators, scrubbers, and other production vessels. The CV20’s hammer union makes maintenance easy by allowing the top works to be removed without taking the valve out of line. Using the same trim set as the CV10 valve, the CV20 offers the versatility of multiple trim sizes and material options. For sour service a NACE option is available.

CV30 Control Valve

The CV30 Control Valve is a reliable, full port control valve in a compact package, featuring balanced plug control trim for excellent throttling or on/off control of fluids. The adjustable top works are designed to save space while leaving enough room to mount a controller. The soft seat design achieves repeatable bubble tight shut-off while remaining out of the flow path. The CV30 is ideally suited for a wide range of applications such as pressure control, level control, or flow control. The model is available in a variety of material options and trim sizes. For sour service a NACE option is available. The CV30 can also be ordered with a metal to metal seat.

CV30E Control Valve

This electric actuator offering includes options for AC and DC power sources, and for both modulating and on/off service. CV40 Control Valve

The CV40 Control Valve is a low pressure, full port, dump valve. It features balanced plug control trim with a quick opening characteristic and an adjustable topworks. The CV40’s full port allows for high flow rates, and its standard soft seat design gives it a consistent leak free shut-off when the valve closes. The CV40 can be ordered with a metal to metal seat. The metal seat version comprises an unbalanced hex shaped plug to avoid sand build up between the plug and cage. This model can be used for discharging liquid or gas from separators, treaters, knockouts, or other vessels. It can also be used for back pressure regulation when paired with a PC48 pressure controller, making it a great economical choice for a variety of low pressure applications.

CV45 Control Valve

The CV45 Control Valve, now available with patent pending Gator Technology, is a low pressure, full port, mechanical dump valve. It features balanced plug control trim with a quick opening characteristic. The CV45’s full port allows for high flow rates, and its standard soft seat design gives it a consistent leak free shut-off. This model can be used for discharging liquid or gas from separators, treaters, knockouts, or other vessels, making it a great economical choice for a variety of low pressure applications. The Gator is a spline mechanism that replaces existing “D” or keyed rotational connections that quickly wear out through normal use. The spline design eliminates slippage/slack, providing greater accuracy and precision. Multiple Gator parts and accessories are available to fit a wide variety of configurations.
